Weighing in: Mock jury perceptions of male sexual assault victims
For scenarios involving female victims of sexual violence, attractiveness and, more specifically, body weight seem to have an effect on perceptions of victims and perpetrators. Favipiravir (T‐705) and the non‐fluorinated counterpart (T‐1106) are antiviral agents that inhibit the RNA‐dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) of various RNA viruses. The antiviral efficacy of nucleoside analogues is strongly dependent on their intracellular activation by cellular kinases to produce their corresponding triphosphate metabolites (T‐705‐RTP ...

CytoScan: Automated Detection of Technical Anomalies for Cytometry Quality Control
ABSTRACT Studies evaluating cellular phenotypes by cytometry techniques are increasingly facing analytical challenges due to the multitudes of samples and parameters that are evaluated concurrently. Spurious technical effects resulting from a lack of standardization can affect marker distributions and further complicate multi‐sample analyses.

Mixed lineage kinase 3 mediates SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced kidney injury via the Hsp70‐IL‐17A axis
Kidney samples from patients infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) showed upregulated expression and activity of Mixed Lineage Kinase (MLK3). Based on the mechanistic studies, we identified MLK3 as a critical player in promoting SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced kidney injury.

Aging and Sustainable Consumption: An Investigation of the Role of Time Perspective
ABSTRACT This research investigates how time perspective influences sustainable consumption among older consumers, a rapidly growing demographic. Across five studies, we find that older consumers are generally less likely than younger consumers to engage in sustainable consumption, largely because they adopt a shorter time perspective (Study 1 ...
