Automated dynamic analytical model improvement for damped structures [PDF]
A method is described to improve a linear nonproportionally damped analytical model of a structure. The procedure finds the smallest changes in the analytical model such that the improved model matches the measured modal parameters.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

Sensitivity of Space Station alpha joint robust controller to structural modal parameter variations [PDF]
The photovoltaic array sun tracking control system of Space Station Freedom is described. A synthesis procedure for determining optimized values of the design variables of the control system is developed using a constrained optimization technique.

ABSTRACT Objective Intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) before thrombectomy for ischemic stroke may alter clot structure and procedural performance. We investigated how IVT relates to thrombectomy metrics across stroke etiologies. Methods We performed a time‐to‐event analysis of consecutive patients with anterior circulation large vessel occlusion (acLVO ...

Modal parameters identification using asynchronous data
Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) allows one to identify the modal parameters (e.g., natural frequencies, damping ratios and mode shapes) of structure from its output-only response to ambient excitations. Modal parameters are often studied to provide information for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM): model updating, damage detection, damage ...

[18F]Fluorodeprenyl‐D2 PET as a Tool to Monitor Disease Activity in GAD65‐Ab Autoimmune Encephalitis
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate [18F]fluorodeprenyl‐D2 ([18F]F‐DED) positron‐emission tomography (PET) imaging as a biomarker of disease activity in autoimmune encephalitis (AIE) associated with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibodies. Methods [18F]F‐DED PET was performed in 25 GAD65‐AIE patients and 8 controls using dynamic (0–60 min) and ...

ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.
