Efficient Solving Method of Common-Mode Interference in Balanced Bus

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
To analyze the causes of common-mode interference from the definition of common-mode voltage, and the combination of graphics using mathematical formula image illustrates the size of common-mode voltage. At the same time, to analyze the method and defects of common-mode interference in the traditional two-line balanced communication line. On this basis,

Temporal coupled mode theory in ring-bus-ring configuration

Advances in Optoelectronics and Micro/nano-optics, 2010
We develop the temporal coupled mode theory for the ring-bus-ring device by taking account of the energy-conservation. The presence of the center waveguide in the tri-coupler section of the RBR facilitates the interaction between the two side-coupled rings.

Generation of common-mode currents on PCB power-bus structures

2006 17th International Zurich Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2006
In this paper, a significant generation process of common-mode currents on PCB power-bus structures is theoretically explained and experimentally investigated. Lumped elements connected asymmetrically to the power-bus are identified as the source of these common-mode currents.

Travel Mode Choice Based on Perceived Quality of Bus Service

CICTP 2015, 2015
Perceived quality of bus services has great effects on passengers’ choice behavior among different travel modes. In this research, both qualitative indicators, like comfort, safety and convenience, and quantitative ones, such as travel time and travel expenses, were introduced into a Multi-Nominal model, to show their effects on passengers’ mode choice

Optimization of Multi-Mode Bus Stopping Based on Comprehensive Cost

ICTE 2013, 2013
With purpose of improving the quality of transit operation, the multi-mode optimization of bus stopping based on comprehensive cost was studied. The model based on minimizing passengers' travel cost and transit vehicles' operation cost was established.

Changes in multi-mode bus transit efficiency, 1988–1992

Transportation, 1998
This paper examines the claim that US bus transit productivity has declined in recent years. It does so with reference to a piecewise-linear best-practice (DEA) production frontier, computed for multi-modal bus transit between 1988 and 1992. Efficiency is measured both by a Russell (static) and Malmquist (dynamic) measure of productivity change.

Study on Decision-Making for Operation Mode of Bus Rapid Transit

ICLEM 2010, 2010
When planning and constructing the system of bus rapid transit (BRT), it is crucial to classify and select the operation mode of BRT reasonably. This paper analyzes the formation process of BRT operation mode and classifies the operation mode into the primary, standard and advanced mode with taking the infrastructure, operational characteristics and ...
