Integrated Tunable Mode Filter for Mode-Division Multiplexed System
2018 European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC), 2018A fundamental/high-order mode tunable filter is proposed and demonstrated for mode-multiplexed optical network, based on Silicon platform. This reconfigurable mode filter exhibits high extinction ratio of 18 dB and low insertion loss of 3 dB over C-band.

Journal of Lightwave Technology, 201650-μm-diameter graded-index core multimode fibers can be adapted to mode-division-multiplexed transmissions that use multiple-input-multiple-output digital signal processing and selective mode multiplexing. Dual mode and wavelength-division multiplexing
