In this paper, we construct a COVID-19 dynamic model that included both the initial and reinfected population compartments, and conduct a structural identifiability analysis of the model parameters to ensure the robustness of the parameter fitting results. We use some actual statistical data from North Carolina to fit the model and estimate the values

The major purpose of this study is to describe a conceptual framework for examining differential item functioning (DIF) and differential person functioning (DPF) as types of model—data misfit within the context of assessing students with disabilities. Specifically, DIF and DPF can be viewed through the lens of residual analyses.

This study describes an approach for examining model-data fit for the dichotomous Rasch model using Tukey-Hann item response functions (TH-IRFs). The procedure proposed in this paper is based on an iterative version of a smoothing technique proposed by Tukey (1977) for estimating nonparametric item response functions (IRFs).

An Investigation of Goodness of Model Data Fit

Simple nonparametric checks for model data fit in CAT
2005In this paper, the usefulness of several nonparametric checks is discussed in a computerized adaptive testing (CAT) context. Although there is no tradition of nonparametric scalability in CAT, it can be argued that scalability checks can be useful to investigate, for example, the quality of item pools.
