Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Modelling the Clusters Aggregation and Aggregative Stability of Suspensions

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2023
The work considers the stability factor of disperse systems, which is determined by the rate of their aggregation. The novelty of submitted work is that the original heuristic model allowing for evaluating the elements of the aggregation matrix with ...

Aggregation and Model Construction for Volatility Models. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
In this paper we will rigourously study some of the properties of continuous time stochastic volatility models. We have five main results, including: the stochastic volatility class can be linked to Cox process based models of tick-by-tick financial data; we characterise the moments, autocorrelation function and spectrum of squared returns; based only ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Research on Judgment Aggregation Based on Logic

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2014
Preference aggregation and judgment aggregation are two basic research models of group decision making. And preference aggregation has been deeply studied in social choice theory.

A Distributed Energy Resources Aggregation Model Based on Multi-Scenario and Multi-Objective Methodology

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
Aggregation technology can integrate distributed energy resources (DERs) into resource aggregation (RA) to achieve efficient utilization of resources. This paper studies a DERs aggregation model to construct a RA.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
