ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

The long hunt for a symmetric monoidal category of spectra finally ended in success with the simultaneous discovery of the third author's discovery of symmetric spectra and the Elmendorf-Kriz-Mandell-May category of S-modules. In this paper we define and

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.

Model categories, pro-categories and functors
This thesis consists of five papers. The first three are concerned with various model structures on ind- and pro-categories, while the last two are concerned with the homotopy theory of functors. In Paper I, a general method for constructing simplicial model structures on ind- and pro-categories is described and its basic properties are studied.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Enhanced Nuclei Segmentation and Classification via Category Descriptors in the SAM Model
Segmenting and classifying nuclei in H&E histopathology images is often limited by the long-tailed distribution of nuclei types. However, the strong generalization ability of image segmentation foundation models like the Segment Anything Model (SAM) can ...

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)
