In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Multi-class classification of brain tumors using optimized CNN and transfer learning techniques

open access: yesScientific Reports
Brain tumors are abnormal cell growths within the brain or central nervous system that disrupt normal brain function and can be life-threatening. Early detection and precise classification of brain tumors are critical for effective treatment and improved

An Improved Supervised-LDA Text Model and Its Application [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
Supervised-Latent Dirichlet Distribution Allocation (s-LDA) model cannot handle the multi-label problem and s-LDA model is not correct distribution in the classification model. The Supervised Labled-LDA(sl-LDA) model is proposed by adding a category label

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Multibranch semantic image segmentation model based on edge optimization and category perception.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
In semantic image segmentation tasks, most methods fail to fully use the characteristics of different scales and levels but rather directly perform upsampling.

Homotopy Theory of Labelled Symmetric Precubical Sets

open access: yes, 2014
This paper is the third paper of a series devoted to higher dimensional transition systems. The preceding paper proved the existence of a left determined model structure on the category of cubical transition systems.

Monoidal model categories

open access: yes, 2007
A monoidal model category is a model category with a compatible closed monoidal structure. Such things abound in nature; simplicial sets and chain complexes of abelian groups are examples. Given a monoidal model category, one can consider monoids and modules over a given monoid. We would like to be able to study the homotopy theory of these monoids and

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.
