Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

IntroductionRoutine human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination in the US is recommended at ages 11 or 12 years and can be given at age 9. Vaccination completion rates among adolescents 13–15 years in the US remain below the 80% goal. This study evaluated the

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Finite Element Analysis of Adaptability of Completion String and Wellbore Curvature
The sidetracked short-radius horizontal well applied in high build up rate section of wells in Suizhong 36-1 oilfield leads to the outstanding adaptability issue of completion string and wellbore. To address the issue, the completion string of a well in ...

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Model Completeness for Rational Trees
Abstract We analyze the theory of rational trees with finitely many constructors, infinitely many atoms and an atomicity predicate. We design a new decision procedure, proving in addition that this theory is model-complete. We also show that the enrichment of the language with selectors and simultaneous parametric fixpoints enjoys quantifier ...
