Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Formal Methods for Adaptive Control of Dynamical Systems

open access: yes, 2017
We develop a method to control discrete-time systems with constant but initially unknown parameters from linear temporal logic (LTL) specifications. We introduce the notions of (non-deterministic) parametric and adaptive transition systems and show how ...

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

Study on Model Reference Adaptive Control for Subway Pantographs

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu
The coupling performance of subway pantographs with catenaries affects the quality of current collection and the safety of trains. The rigidity of these catenaries exhibits periodicity and fluctuations due to factors such as geographical locations ...

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Flight Results of the NF-15B Intelligent Flight Control System (IFCS) Aircraft with Adaptation to a Longitudinally Destabilized Plant [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Adaptive flight control systems have the potential to be resilient to extreme changes in airplane behavior. Extreme changes could be a result of a system failure or of damage to the airplane.

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Transition Process Control of Tiltrotor Aircraft Based on Fractional-Order Model Reference Adaptive Control

open access: yesMachines
To address the critical challenge of controlling tiltrotor aircraft during transition mode, this paper proposes a fractional-order model reference adaptive control (FO-MRAC) method based on the unique modeling of the tiltrotor aircraft. A nonlinear model
