Refining trigonometric inequalities by using Padé approximant
A two-point Padé approximant method is presented for refining some remarkable trigonometric inequalities including the Jordan inequality, Kober inequality, Becker–Stark inequality, and Wu–Srivastava inequality. Simple proofs are provided.

On multi-copy forwarding protocols for large data chunk dissemination in vehicular sensor networks
Moving vehicles have been sensing all kinds of data on the road in which multimedia data possesses a large portion. These data is often forwarded to vehicles in a region of interest or the monitoring center in an opportunistic manner. With respect to the

ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

Causality Checking for Complex System Models [PDF]
We present an approach for the algorithmic computation of causalities in system models that we refer to as causality checking. We base our notion of causality on counterfactual reasoning, in particular using the structural equation model approach by Halpern and Pearl that we recently have extended to reason about computational models.

Binarization of features based on frequency discretization for clustering tasks [PDF]
This paper explores the transformation of heterogeneous features, including continuous data, into binary form using frequency discretization. This method is particularly beneficial for clustering tasks, as binary features simplify the interpretation of ...

Noise resilient exceptional-point voltmeters enabled by oscillation quenching phenomena
Exceptional point degeneracies (EPD) of linear non-Hermitian systems have been recently utilized for hypersensitive sensing. This proposal exploits the sublinear response that the degenerate frequencies experience once the system is externally perturbed.
