A Conceptual Model for Services
2015Models are a mainstay of every scientific and engineering discipline. Models are typically more accessible to study than the systems. Models are instruments that are effectively functioning within a scenario. The effectiveness is based on an associated set of methods and satisfies requirements of usage of the model.

A Staged Service Innovation Model*
Decision Sciences, 2009ABSTRACTDrawing from the new product development (NPD) literature, service quality literature (SERVQUAL), and empirically grounded research with 53 service innovation decision makers, we develop a staged service innovation model (SIM) for decision makers. We tested the model using empirical data from 329 firms across five industries.

Model-Driven Management of Services
2010 Eighth IEEE European Conference on Web Services, 2010Applications are increasingly composed of remote services provided by independent parties. This distributed ownership makes it problematic to measure and control quality of service indicators. Management activities must become an integral part of the system’s development process, from requirements elicitation, where users identify the quality ...

Stack Service Model (SSM) is an architecture that describes the telecommunications world. Services are plug-and-play boxes associated with their subscribers’ phones. The phones contain a stack structure that ranges services by priority. The communications between stacks are handled by token (message) exchange.

A Model for Process Service Interaction
2002The design and the achievement of any consequent project imply the involvement of several people, teams and even enterprises. These enterprises interact and exchange data, more and more often, through Internet and the "Web". However, exchanging data is not enough for working together, it is also necessary to control and manage these exchanges occurring

Sandbox deployment model for services in modeling and simulation as a service
The Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation: Applications, Methodology, Technology, 2016Modeling and simulation as a service (MSaaS) is based on the idea of simulation services deployed in any host device under demand. These services can be anything from a small plug-in to a full-scale system. The users and devices requesting the simulation can be placed anywhere.
