Simplified models for displaced dark matter signatures [PDF]
We propose a systematic programme to search for long-lived neutral particle signatures through a minimal set of displaced searches requiring significant missing transverse energy (dMETs). Our approach is to extend the well-established dark matter simplified models to include displaced vertices. The dark matter simplified models are used to describe the

SMEFT goes dark: Dark Matter models for four-fermion operators
Abstract We study ultra-violet completions for d = 6 four-fermion operators in the standard model effective field theory (SMEFT), focusing on models that contain cold dark matter candidates. Via a diagrammatic method, we generate systematically lists of possible UV completions, with the aim of providing sets of models, which are ...

VDM: a model for vector dark matter [PDF]
We construct a model based on a new $U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry and a discrete $Z_2$ symmetry under which the new gauge boson is odd. The model contains new complex scalars which carry $U(1)_X$ charge but are singlets of the Standard Model. The $U(1)_X$ symmetry is spontaneously broken but the $Z_2$ symmetry is maintained, making the new gauge boson a dark

Models for SIMP dark matter and dark photon [PDF]
We give a review on the SIMP paradigm and discuss a consistent model for SIMP dark mesons in the context of a dark QCD with flavor symmetry. The $Z'$-portal interaction is introduced being compatible with stable dark mesons and is responsible for making the SIMP dark mesons remain in kinetic equilibrium with the SM during the freeze-out process.

Asymmetries in extended dark sectors: a cogenesis scenario
The observed dark matter relic abundance may be explained by different mechanisms, such as thermal freeze-out/freeze-in, with one or more symmetric/asymmetric components. In this work we investigate the role played by asymmetries in determining the yield

The Z 7 model of three-component scalar dark matter
We investigate, for the first time, a scenario where the dark matter consists of three complex scalar fields that are stabilized by a single Z 7 symmetry.

Left-right Model for Dark Matter
We argue that dark matter can automatically arise from a gauge theory that possesses a non-minimal left-right gauge symmetry, SU(3)_C \otimes SU(M)_L \otimes SU(N)_R \otimes U(1)_X, for (M,N)=(2,3), (3,2), (3,3), \cdots, and (5,5).

Flavor inspired model for dark matter
The discrepancies between data on rare b-hadron decays, controlled by the underlying neutral-current transitions b→sℓ+ℓ−(ℓ=e,μ), and the corresponding Standard Model predictions constitute one of the most intriguing hints for new physics. Leptoquarks are prime candidates to solve these anomalies and, in particular, the scalar leptoquark, S3, triplet ...

We generalize the recently proposed continuum dark matter model to the case where the dark matter consists of a spin-1/2 or spin-1 gapped continuum. We construct simple continuum analogs of weakly interacting massive particles annihilating through the Z ...
