Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Gravitational action for a massive Majorana fermion in 2d quantum gravity
We compute the gravitational action of a free massive Majorana fermion coupled to two-dimensional gravity on compact Riemann surfaces of arbitrary genus. The structure is similar to the case of the massive scalar.

A Renormalizable Model of Quantum Gravity
We develop a renormalizable model of Quantum General Relativity (QGR). We do this by building on earlier work with quantum electrodynamics (QED). Working with the Feynman path integral (FPI) approach to QED, we generalize the paths from varying in space to varying in space and time.

This review systematically examines the nanomechanical mechanisms of mussel‐inspired molecular interactions, primarily investigated by direct force measurement techniques such as surface forces apparatus and atomic force microscopy. The macroscopic adhesive and self‐healing performances of mussel‐inspired functional materials, including coacervates ...

Biological and biologically‐inspired functional nanostructures with structural, thermal, optical, and sensing applications are reviewed. The role of nanoscale features in biological materials on performance is described, and their blueprints are used for bio‐inspired nanomaterials, synthesized using advanced techniques (i.e., photolithography, bio ...

Renormalizable and Unitary Model of Quantum Gravity [PDF]
We consider R + R 2 relativistic quantum gravity with the action where all possible terms quadratic in the curvature tensor are added to the Einstein-Hilbert term. This model was shown to be renormalizable in the work by K.S. Stelle. In this paper, we demonstrate that the R + R 2 model is also unitary contrary to the statements made

Lorentz breaking Effective Field Theory and observational tests
Analogue models of gravity have provided an experimentally realizable test field for our ideas on quantum field theory in curved spacetimes but they have also inspired the investigation of possible departures from exact Lorentz invariance at microscopic ...

The projector on physical states in loop quantum gravity [PDF]
We construct the operator that projects on the physical states in loop quantum gravity. To this aim, we consider a diffeomorphism invariant functional integral over scalar functions. The construction defines a covariant, Feynman-like, spacetime formalism

An ideal implant should mimic native tissues such that it can integrate, sense, heal, and continue to function, i.e., be autonomous. Although early, there are good steps taken in this way, e.g., the development of stimuli‐responsive, self‐powering, self‐actuating, self‐healing, self‐regenerating, and self‐aware implants.

Sine-dilaton gravity vs double-scaled SYK: exploring one-loop quantum corrections
We provide non-trivial checks of the recently proposed duality between double-scaled SYK and a 2d dilaton gravity model with sine potential, studying the path integral at one-loop level.
