A solvable model of flat space holography
We propose an explicit realization of flat space holography in two dimensions where both sides of the duality are independently defined and the boundary theory is completely solvable.

A model of quantum gravity with emergent spacetime [PDF]
Abstract We construct a model of quantum gravity in which dimension, topology and geometry of spacetime are dynamical. The microscopic degree of freedom is a real rectangular matrix whose rows label internal flavours, and columns label spatial sites. In the limit that the size of the matrix is large, the sites can collectively form

Smart Bioinspired Material‐Based Actuators: Current Challenges and Prospects
This work gathers, in a review style, an extensive and comprehensive literature overview on the development of autonomous actuators based on synthetic materials, bringing together valuable knowledge from several studies. Furthermore, the article identifies the fundamental principles of actuation mechanisms and defines key parameters to address the size

Quantum group origins of edge states in double-scaled SYK
Double-scaled SYK (DSSYK) is known to have an underlying quantum group theoretical description. We precisely pinpoint the quantum group structure, improving upon earlier work in the literature.

De Sitter microstates from T T ¯ $$ \overline{T} $$ + Λ2 and the Hawking-Page transition
We obtain microstates accounting for the Gibbons-Hawking entropy in dS 3, along with a subleading logarithmic correction, from the solvable T T ¯ $$ \overline{T} $$ + Λ2 deformation of a seed CFT with sparse light spectrum.

Barrett-Crane model from a Boulatov-Ooguri field theory over a homogeneous space
Boulatov and Ooguri have generalized the matrix models of 2d quantum gravity to 3d and 4d, in the form of field theories over group manifolds. We show that the Barrett-Crane quantum gravity model arises naturally from a theory of this type, but ...

Quantum fields, non-locality and quantum group symmetries [PDF]
We study the action of space-time symmetries on quantum fields in the presence of small departures from locality determined by dynamical gravity. It is shown that, under such relaxation of locality, the symmetries of the theory cannot be described within

Towards an UV fixed point in CDT gravity
CDT is an attempt to formulate a non-perturbative lattice theory of quantum gravity. We describe the phase diagram and analyse the phase transition between phase B and phase C (which is the analogue of the de Sitter phase observed for the spherical ...
