A histories perspective on characterizing quantum non-locality [PDF]
We introduce a framework for studying non-locality and contextuality inspiredby the path integral formulation of quantum theory. We prove that the existenceof a strongly positive joint quantum measure— the quantum analogue of a jointprobability measure —

Magnetic soft robots offer promise in biomedicine due to their wireless actuation and rapid response, but current fabrication methods are complex and have limited cellular compatibility. A new, contactless bioassembly strategy using hydrodynamic instabilities is introduced, enabling customizable, centimeter‐scale robots.

Recent Conceptual Consequences of Loop Quantum Gravity. Part I: Foundational Aspects. [PDF]
Conceptual consequences of recent results in loop quantum gravity are collected and discussed here in view of their implications for a modern philosophy of science which is mainly understood as one that totalizes scientific insight so as to eventually ...

Are we at the dawn of quantum-gravity phenomenology?
A handful of recent papers has been devoted to proposals of experiments capable of testing some candidate quantum-gravity phenomena. These lecture notes emphasize those aspects that are most relevant to the questions that come to mind when one is exposed

Sine-dilaton gravity vs double-scaled SYK: exploring one-loop quantum corrections
We provide non-trivial checks of the recently proposed duality between double-scaled SYK and a 2d dilaton gravity model with sine potential, studying the path integral at one-loop level.

Lattice Models of Quantum Gravity
Standard Regge Calculus provides an interesting method to explore quantum gravity in a non-perturbative fashion but turns out to be a CPU-time demanding enterprise. One therefore seeks for suitable approximations which retain most of its universal features. The $Z_2$-Regge model could be such a desired simplification. Here the quadratic edge lengths $q$

Analogue gravity models from conformal rescaling
Analogue gravity is based on a mathematical identity between quantum field theory in curved space-time and the propagation of perturbations in certain condensed matter systems. But not every curved space-time can be simulated in such a way.

Bubbles Acting as Micro End‐Effectors for Dexterous Manipulation and Sensing in Aqueous Environment
Inspired by bubbles, this article proposes a low‐cost method for multifunctional manipulation and sensing using microbubbles in aqueous environments. Bubbles are easily generated in situ, enabling the safe and adaptive handling of microobjects and sensing of microforces and surface textures.
