Experimental study of high temperature properties and rheological behavior of ceramic modified asphalt [PDF]
Industry and by-product waste materials are commonly used in road construction. Ceramic is a class of inorganic, nonmetallic materials produced by the action of heat and subsequent cooling. This product is used widely around the world. The main objective

Optimal Hedging Strategies in the Low‐Sulphur Bunker Fuel Landscape
ABSTRACT The IMO2020 regulation for the green transition in shipping turned the industry into using two compliant bunker fuels: very low‐sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO) and low‐sulphur marine gas oil (LSMGO). VLSFO futures contracts introduced in late 2019 and other energy‐related futures contracts indicate that the VLSFO contracts trading on the Singapore ...

Seismic imaging of the critical zone of dolerite dykes at Cap Fréhel in Brittany (France)
Abstract In June 2023, we measured ten near‐surface seismic profiles to image the critical zone of dolerite (diabase) dykes that cut the sandstone at Cap Fréhel in Brittany (France). Seismic ray tracing and inversion are used to determine the thickness of the regolith layer from first‐arrival P‐wave traveltimes.

Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...
