Facile Preparation of a Poly[2]Catenane Network Using Self‐Assembled [2]Catenane Unit

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Polycatenanes show a higher degree of conformational freedom and mobility compared to covalent polymers. However, the number of its studies is far lower than that of other dynamic polymers. This may reflect the fact that the preparation of polycatenanes involves the complicated synthesis of covalent catenation.

Pollination by long‐proboscid horseflies and its implications for reproductive isolation among coflowering Satyrium orchids in South Africa

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Botany, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Floral adaptations to pollinators can drive lineage diversification and promote coexistence of species. We investigated the reproductive biology of Satyrium longicolle, a South African orchid that we hypothesized to belong to a long‐proboscid horsefly pollination guild and examined overlap of pollinators and floral traits among ...

Investigating the Effect of Cutting Parameters of Ti–6Al–4V on Surface Roughness Based on a SPH Cutting Model

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
This work establishes a 2D numerical model to simulate the cutting process of workpieces made of Ti⁻6Al⁻4V, by applying an improved Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics algorithm together with a modified constitutive model based on the Johnson ...

DETERMINATION OF CONSTANTS AND COMPARISON OF RESULTS FOR VARIOUS CONSTITUTIVE MODELS

open access: yes, 1991
The ability to compare different constitutive models has been difficult in the past because the constants associated with these models are developed using different methods and test data.

Real‐World Evaluation of Talquetamab for the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM): An International Myeloma Working Group Immunotherapy Registry Real‐World Analysis

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Talquetamab is a GPRC5D × CD3 bispecific antibody approved for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). This is the first real‐world study to comprehensively report muco‐cutaneous toxicities, infections, and efficacy of talquetamab in 151 patients across five countries with the longest follow‐up reported enabling better efficacy and ...

A Comparative Study on Johnson Cook, Modified Zerilli–Armstrong, and Arrhenius-Type Constitutive Models to Predict Compression Flow Behavior of SnSbCu Alloy

open access: yes, 2019
The flow behavior of the SnSbCu alloy is studied experimentally by the compression tests in the range of the strain rates from 0.0001 to 0.1 s−1 and temperature from 293 to 413 K.

A Global Prospective Harmonization Framework for Suicidality, Anhedonia, and Obsessive‐Compulsive Symptoms in Psychiatric Genetic Studies: A Cross‐Continental Study Within the Ancestral Population Network

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aims to prospectively collect harmonized, quantitative, and dimensional psychiatric phenotypes (suicidality, anhedonia, and obsessive‐compulsive symptoms) and information on discrimination, stigma, and unfair treatment in up to 27,500 individuals across diverse ancestries and clinical populations for genetic analysis within the NIMH

A modified HJC model for improved dynamic response of brittle materials under blasting loads

open access: yes, 2020
© 2020 Elsevier Ltd The original Holmquist-Johnson-Cook (HJC) model, which can only capture the compressive behaviour but not the tensile behaviour of brittle materials, is modified in this study. First, the Lode-angle function is introduced to the yield

Interaction of FXTAS Family History and College Degree Attainment Predicts Trajectories of Cognitive and Motor Symptoms in FMR1 Premutation Carrier Women

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The present longitudinal study focuses on FMR1 premutation carrier women during midlife and early old age (n = 115). Bringing together the genetic risk factor of a family history of FXTAS and the environmental protective factor of higher education, the goal of the study was to determine how these factors potentially interact to predict self ...

Judicial Perspectives on Neurodiversity in Queensland Courts, Tribunals and Commissions: Experiences With Disclosure and Witness Credibility

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Little is known about the impacts of the disclosure, or the non‐disclosure, of medical conditions associated with neurodiversity in the context of court proceedings and hearings before tribunals and commissions. This paper examines the experiences of twenty‐three Queensland Judges, Magistrates, and Tribunal and Commission Members with ...
