The Pioneer anomaly and the holographic scenario

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we discuss the recently obtained relation between the Verlinde's holographic model and the first phenomenological Modified Newtonian dynamics.

A Review on Microreactor Design for Effective Fischer–Tropsch Process Intensification

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Design strategies for effective Fischer–Tropsch process intensification are summarized based on experimental and simulation experiences. Recommendations for catalyst loading of packed‐bed and wash‐coated microchannel, microtube, micromonolith, and microstructured reactors are discussed.

Characterization of Droplet Formation in Ultrasonic Spray Coating: Influence of Ink Formulation Using Phase Doppler Anemometry and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

Dark matter and Modified Newtonian Dynamics in a sample of high-redshift galaxy clusters observed with Chandra

open access: yes, 2009
We compare the measurement of the gravitational mass of 38 high-redshift galaxy clusters observed by Chandra using Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) and standard Newtonian gravity.

On the gravitational potential of modified Newtonian dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2013
The mathematical structure of the Poisson equation of Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) is studied. The appropriate setting turns out to be an Orlicz-Sobolev space whose Orlicz function is related to Milgrom's μ-function, where there exists existence and uniqueness of weak solutions.

Large-scale filaments--Newtonian vs. modified dynamics

open access: yes, 1996
Eisenstein Loeb and Turner (ELT) have recently proposed a method for estimating the dynamical masses of large-scale filaments, whereby the filament is modeled by an axisymmetric, isothermal cylinder, for which ELT derive a global relation between the ...

Magnetic Field Driven Microrobot Based on Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Hydrogel‐based magnetic microrobots synergize remote magnetic control with the biocompatibility of flexible hydrogels, emerging as promising tools for minimally invasive biomedicine. This enables remotely controllable, untethered navigation within complex biological microenvironments.

Comparison of HMG and Flat Rotation Velocities Inferred from Galaxy–Galaxy Weak Lensing

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Despite the success of dark matter models, unresolved issues require exploring alternatives such as modified gravity theories. In this context, we examine the compatibility of the hyperconical modified gravity (HMG) with galaxy rotation curves inferred ...

Modified Newtonian dynamics and excited hadrons

open access: yes, 2022
We discuss implications that result from the acceptance of MOND parameter $a_M$ as the third fundamental constant of nature in addition to $c$ and $h$. To this aim we use the concept of Newtonian triangle in the $(log(r),~ log(m))$ plane and show that excited states on hadronic Regge trajectories lead into the MOND regime beyond this triangle.
