Qualitative meta-synthesis comparing non-Newtonian, non-Kolmogorov, and modified Krieger computational fluid dynamics models exploring the intracranial aneurysm dynamics: state of the art

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Neurosurgery
Background: Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models are crucial for examining blood flow and the morphology of brain aneurysms. These models are used to enhance the understanding of the formation, rupture, and post-treatment behavior of aneurysms.

Ionic Liquid‐Enhanced 3D Printed Flexible Resin for Pressure‐Sensing Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed resin–ionic liquid (IL) composite forms gyroid ionotronic architectures showing dynamic ionic migration under compression. Impedance analysis reveals distinct frequency responses across three topologies at high IL concentrations.

A Review on Microreactor Design for Effective Fischer–Tropsch Process Intensification

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Design strategies for effective Fischer–Tropsch process intensification are summarized based on experimental and simulation experiences. Recommendations for catalyst loading of packed‐bed and wash‐coated microchannel, microtube, micromonolith, and microstructured reactors are discussed.

Characterization of Droplet Formation in Ultrasonic Spray Coating: Influence of Ink Formulation Using Phase Doppler Anemometry and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

Dynamics and Stability of the Two Body Problem with Yukawa Correction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
We explore the dynamics and stability of the two body problem by modifying the Newtonian potential with the Yukawa potential. This model may be considered a theory of modified gravity; where the interaction is not simply the kepler solution for large ...

Phase mixing in MOND [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Dissipationless collapses in Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) have been studied by using our MOND particle-mesh N-body code, finding that the projected density profiles of the final virialized systems are well described by Sersic profiles with index ...

Structural Colors from Ultrathin Lignin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Thickness‐dependent structural colors in ultrathin lignin films generate a full visible palette, tuned simply by solution concentration and spin speed. Abstract Structural colors offer a sustainable alternative to toxic pigments and dyes, yet their realization from lignin, the most abundant aromatic biopolymer, has remained elusive.

Predicting the relativistic periastron advance of a binary without curving spacetime

open access: yes, 2017
Relativistic Newtonian Dynamics, the simple model used previously for predicting accurately the anomalous precession of Mercury, is now applied to predict the periastron advance of a binary.

Current data on the globular cluster Palomar 14 are not inconsistent with MOND [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Certain types of globular clusters have the very important property that the predictions for their kinematics in the Newtonian and modified Newtonian dynamics (MOND) contexts are divergent.
