Convergence of Ishikawa Iterates of Two Mappings in Modular Function Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2014
We establish convergence in the modular sense of an iteration scheme associated with a pair of mappings on a nonlinear domain in modular function spaces. In particular, we prove that such a scheme converges to a common fixed point of the mappings.

Approximation Results by Statistical Convergence Based on a Power Series in Modular Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesLobachevskii Journal of Mathematics, 2023
In this study, we present some approximation results in modular spaces for positive linear operators with the use of P-statistical convergence which is recently added to literature by combining statistical convergence and power series. As an application,

On modular approximants in sequential convergence spaces

Journal of Approximation Theory, 2021
A convex modular on a real vector space \(X\) is a mapping \(\rho:X\to [0,\infty]\) such that:\(\;\) (1) \(\;\rho(x)=0\iff x=0\),\(\;\)(2)\(\;\rho(x)=\rho(-x)\), and (3)\(\; \rho(\alpha x+\beta y)\le \alpha \rho(x)+\beta\rho(y) \) for all \(\alpha,\beta\ge 0\) with \(\alpha+\beta=1\). The vector space \(X_\rho=\{x\in X:\lim_{\lambda\to 0}\rho(\lambda x)

Modular Convergence Theorems for Integral Operators in the Context of Filter Exhaustiveness and Applications

open access: yesMediterranean Journal of Mathematics, 2013
We prove some modular convergence theorems for nonlinear Urysohn-type integral operators, applying filter convergence of sequences of functions. We give some applications to Mellin operators, including moment, Mellin-Poisson-Cauchy and Mellin-Gauss ...

Relative Weighted Almost Convergence Based on Fractional-Order Difference Operator in Multivariate Modular Function Spaces

open access: yesRevista De La Real Academia De Ciencias Exactas, Fisicas Y Naturales - Serie A: Matematicas, 2019
In the present paper, we introduce the concept of relative weighted almost convergence and its weighted statistical extensions in multivariate modular function spaces based on a new type fractional-order double difference operator delta ha,b,c.

Modular Convergence in Generalized Orlicz Spaces for Moment Type Operators

Applicable Analysis, 1989
In this paper we consider a sequence of integral operators of the form where x is belongs to a generalized Orlicz space generated by the modular Here, ϕ-function with some suitable properties. The main object is a modular approximation of x by means of the sequence {Tnx}, i.e.

Convergence properties of modular eigenfunctions for the -Laplacian

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2014
One proves the existence of solutions \((v_{p}, \lambda_{p})\) of the eigenvalue problem \[ -\text{div}( | \nabla u(x) | ^{p(x)-2} \nabla u(x))=\lambda | u(x) | ^{p(x)-2} u(x), \;u \in W_{0}^{1,p(\cdot)}(\Omega) \] for an appropriate class of exponents \(p(\cdot)\).

Abstract Korovkin Theorems via Relative Modular Convergence for Double Sequences of Linear Operators [PDF]

open access: yesFacta Universitatis Series Mathematics and Informatics, 2020
We will obtain an abstract version of the Korovkin type approximation theorems with respect to the concept of statistical relative convergence in modular spaces for double sequences of positive linear operators.

A convergent, modular access to complex amines

Tetrahedron, 2010
Various xanthates can be added to N-vinyl phthalimide with little formation of oligomers, if the xanthate is used in excess and the medium slightly diluted. The adduct xanthates thus obtained can in turn undergo radical additions to numerous olefins, providing a convergent and modular access to densely functionalized amines.

Modular Convergence Theorems in Fractional Musielak-Orlicz Spaces

Zeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 1994
Here we study modular convergence in fractional Musielak-Orlicz spaces for se-quences of moment type operators and convolution operators. To obtain the requested convergence properties we give some estimates for the involved operators, using a growth condition on the convex function ...
