Lifting modular forms of half-integral weight to Siegel modular forms of even genus
Mathematische Annalen, 2002Let \(f\) be a normalized Hecke eigenform in the space \(S_{2k}\) of cusp forms of even weight \(2k\) on the full modular group \(\text{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z})\), and let \(n\) be a positive integer for which \(n-k\) is even. Then there exists a Hecke eigenform \(F\) in the space \(S_{k+n}(\Gamma_{2n})\) of cusp forms of weight \(k+n\) with respect to the ...

On the Ramanujan–Petersson conjecture for modular forms of half-integral weight
Forum Mathematicum, 2019Abstract We investigate the (still unknown) Ramanujan–Petersson conjecture about the growth of the Fourier coefficients of cusp forms of half-integral weight and prove that it is optimal, at least for newforms in the plus space.

On the Shintani lifting of integral weight modular forms to half-integral weight modular forms
International Journal of Number TheoryIn this paper, we explore the adelic Shintani lifting of a weight 2 cusp form f. For a finite Schwartz function related to an auxiliary quadratic character [Formula: see text], we express certain Fourier coefficients of this lifting in terms of the twisted L-value [Formula: see text].

On Fourier coefficients of half-integral weight modular forms
2017In this talk, we give an exposition on some recent work, due to various researchers, on the sign of the Fourier coefficients of modular forms when the Fourier coefficients are real. Our main concern is the case of half-integral weight, and we shall discuss an interesting application due to Ben Kane.

On Shimura’s Correspondence for Modular Forms of Half-Integral Weight
1981G. Shimura has shown how to attach to each holomorphic cusp form of half-integral weight a modular form of even integral weight. More precisely, suppose f(z) is a cusp form of weight k/2, level N, and character χ.

A SHORT NOTE ON FOURIER COEFFICIENTS OF HALF-INTEGRAL WEIGHT MODULAR FORMS
International Journal of Number Theory, 2010We give an unconditional proof of a result on sign changes of Fourier coefficients of cusp forms of half-integral weight that before was proved only under the hypothesis of Chowla's conjecture.
