FIXED POINT OF MULTIVALUED CONTRACTIONS IN ORTHOGONAL MODULAR METRIC SPACES [PDF]

open access: yesFacta Universitatis, Series: Mathematics and Informatics, 2019
In this paper we generalize the notion of O−set and establish some fixedpoint theorems for ⊥ − α − ψ−contraction multifunction in the setting of orthogonalmodular metric spaces. As consequences of these results we deduce some theorems inorthogonal modular metric spaces endowed with a graph and partial order.

Fixed point theorem and iterated function system in φ-metric modular space

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Algorithms for Sciences and Engineering
We introduce and study the concept of φ-metric modular space and, then define φ-α-Meir-Keeler contraction on it and explore its fixed point. Further, we define the Hausdorff distance between two non-empty compact subsets of the considered space.

Individual Topological Analysis of Synchronization-Based Brain Connectivity

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Functional connectivity analysis aims at assessing the strength of functional coupling between the signal responses in distinct brain areas. Usually, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) time series connections are estimated through zero-lag ...

Local bulk physics from intersecting modular Hamiltonians

open access: yes, 2017
We show that bulk quantities localized on a minimal surface homologous to a boundary region correspond in the CFT to operators that commute with the modular Hamiltonian associated with the boundary region.

Non-Unique Fixed Point Theorems in Modular Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2019
This paper is devoted to the study of Ćirić-type non-unique fixed point results in modular metric spaces. We obtain various theorems about a fixed point and periodic points for a self-map on modular spaces which are not necessarily continuous and satisfy certain contractive conditions.

Fixed point results for generalized F-contractions in modular metric and fuzzy metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2015
AbstractThe notion of modular metric space, being a natural generalization of classical modulars over linear spaces, was recently introduced. In this paper, we introduce a generalized F-contraction in modular metric space and investigate the existence of fixed points for such contractions.

Cop and robber game and hyperbolicity

open access: yes, 2014
In this note, we prove that all cop-win graphs G in the game in which the robber and the cop move at different speeds s and s' with s'0, this establishes a new - game-theoretical - characterization of Gromov hyperbolicity.

Fixed Point Results for Generalized F-Contractions in Modular b-Metric Spaces with Applications

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The aim of this paper is to generalize the F -contractive condition in the framework of α - ν -complete modular b-metric spaces. Some results in ordered modular b-metric spaces are also presented.

On a pair of fuzzy mappings in modular-like metric spaces with applications

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
The aim of this work is to establish results in fixed point theory for a pair of fuzzy dominated mappings which forms a rational fuzzy dominated V-contraction in modular-like metric spaces. Some results via a partial order and using the graph concept are

Weak contractive integral inequalities and fixed points in modular metric spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
Branciari (Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 29(9):531-536, 2002) gave an interesting supplement of Banach’s contraction principle for an integral-type inequality.
