This chapter reviews the basic concepts, definitions, and algorithms in graph theory, which is important to the mathematical representation of modular robot assembly configurations. Since a modular robot is a collection of link and joint modules, a re-classification scheme for links and joints is proposed to translate a modular robot into a kinematic ...

Modular crystalline representations
Russian Mathematical Surveys, 1988Let K be a local field of characteristic 0 (i.e. complete with respect to a discrete valuation) with perfect residue field k of characteristic \(p>0.\) Let \(\bar K\) be the algebraic closure of K and \(G=Gal(\bar K/K)\). Let \(K_ 0\) be the quotient field of the ring of Witt vectors W(k) and let \(e=[K:K_ 0]\) be the absolute ramification index of K ...

Lifting modular mod ℓ representations
Duke Mathematical Journal, 1994The article extends previous work of the authors and others. The main result is that once a modulo \(l\) (odd prime) Galois representation has a modular lift to characteristic zero, then one can find another such lift with prescribed restriction to the decomposition groups at primes \(p\neq l\).

Integer Programming Via Modular Representations
Management Science, 1970Modular representations of the integers are used to identify the successive integer grid points encountered as one varies the objective value of an all-integer programming problem. One can, therefore, proceed from a noninteger solution to an integer solution by monotonic variation of the objective value.

Modulars Representations of Quasi*-algebras
In this article we will continue our analysis undertaken in \cite{batratri} and in \cite{tratri} on the structure of quasi-local quasi *-algebras. We consider representations of quasi-local quasi *-algebras $(\A,\Ao)$. In particular we discuss the problem of finding a modular mathematical model representation.Burderi, Fabio, Triolo, Salvatore

FREE MODULAR LATTICES AND THEIR REPRESENTATIONS
Russian Mathematical Surveys, 1974Let be a modular lattice, and a finite-dimensional vector space over a field . A representation of in is a morphism from into the lattice of all subspaces of . In this paper we study representations of finitely generated free modular lattices . An element of a lattice is called perfect if for every indecomposable representation the subspace of is such ...

Quotient Categories of Modular Representations
2010Let G be a reductive algebraic group over a field of prime characteristic p. We prove some results on the invariance under translations by p-multiples of weights for the composition factor multiplicities in Weyl modules, respectively for the Weyl factor multiplicities in indecomposable tilting modules for G.

Weights of modular representations
Mathematical Notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, 1972Jordan-Holder series of p-representations of Lie algebras of classical type are studied in this note.

Modular curves, modular forms, lattices, Galois representations
2011This chapter provides the necessary background concerning modular curves and modular forms. It covers modular curves, modular forms, lattices and modular forms, Galois representations attached to eigenforms, and Galois representations over finite fields and reduction to torsion in Jacobians.
