Bell-CHSH inequality and unitary transformations in quantum field theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Unitary transformations are employed to enhance the violations of the Bell-CHSH inequality in relativistic quantum field theory. The case of the scalar field in $$1+1$$ 1 + 1 Minkowski space-time is scrutinized by relying on the Tomita–Takesaki modular ...

Clean Up Behind You ‐ Novel Patterning Approach for Solid Immersion Lenses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A focused ion beam (FIB) milling strategy enables rapid fabrication of solid immersion lenses (SILs) with smooth, debris‐free surfaces eliminating the need for post‐processing. The optimized pattern improves efficiency and surface quality. SILs containing NV centers are also investigated, confirming the technique's suitability for quantum and photonic ...

Basic vector valued Siegel modular forms of genus two [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider the space of all vector-valued holomorphic modular forms f:H_n→Z of transformation type f(MZ)=vr(M)det(CZ+D)ϱ(CZ+D)f(Z). ϱ:GL(n,C)→GL(Z) is a rational representation on a finite dimensional complex vector space Z.

The Terminal Domains of Collagen‐Like Silk Direct Molecular Interactions and Liquid–Liquid Phase Separation‐Mediated Material Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Terminal domains of recombinant collagen‐like silk regulate hierarchical self‐assembly across molecular and material scales. We show that terminal domains of collagen‐like silk enhance triple‐helix stability and drive liquid–liquid phase separation, enabling reversible formation of fibers and self‐healing films.

Decentralized Control for Modular Multilevel Interlinking Converter in Standalone Microgrid Operation

open access: yese-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy
This paper presents a decentralized modular interlinking converter (IC) for a hybrid microgrid (HMG) operating in standalone mode. The proposed IC is designed using a modular structure, where each module consists of a local controller and four half ...

Mechanical and Electrical Phenotype of hiPSC‐Cardiomyocytes on Fibronectin‐Based Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce fibronectin‐based PEG hydrogels with controlled rigidity to enable the culture of iPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes. These substrates offer an alternative to the current culture of these cells on fibronectin‐coated glass, providing enhanced structural and functional behavior. The system provides a more physiologically relevant platform to assess

Co‐Electrospinning Extracellular Matrix with Polycaprolactone Enables a Modular Approach to Balance Bioactivity and Mechanics of a Multifunctional Bone Wrap

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...
