Optimum Mode-Switching-Assisted Constant-Power Single- and Multicarrier Adaptive Modulation

open access: yes, 2003
A set of optimum mode-switching levels is derived for a generic constant-power adaptive-modulation scheme based on a closed-form expression of the average bit error ratio (BER) and the average bits-per-symbol (BPS) throughput of the adaptive-modulation ...

Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Prediction of treatment response in infantile epileptic spasms syndrome using EEG phase–amplitude coupling

open access: yesEpilepsia Open
Objective Treatment selection for infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) is complex and multifaceted, and currently no electroencephalogram (EEG) biomarkers can guide this decision by predicting treatment response.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Performance analysis of generalized orthogonal code index modulation system

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2022
In order to improve the transmission efficiency of the code index modulation (CIM) system, a generalized orthogonal code index modulation (GQCIM) system with lower complexity was proposed, which was a single input single output (SISO) system.CIM system ...

Radio rangefinder based on the J-correlation signal processing method

open access: yesТехнологія та конструювання в електронній апаратурі, 2005
A statistical analysis of the J-correlation radio rangefinder is carried out. Signal parameters are determined under which unambiguous range measurement is ensured. It is shown that, for certain parameters of the input signal and the device, the accuracy
