Packet-Level Index Modulation for LoRaWAN
The long range wide area network (LoRaWAN) is one of the enabling technologies for low power wide area (LPWA) networks. In LoRaWAN, a node transmits its packet to a gateway (GW) in an autonomous and decentralized manner.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Modulation index optimization for wavelength modulation spectroscopy
In this work, the second-harmonic component of wavelength modulation spectroscopy is simulated for R(22) CO2 absorption line to investigate the effect of gas temperature and pressure on the modulation index.

Precoded Sphere Packing Aided Bit-Interleaved Differential Spa ce-Time Coded Modulation Using Iterative Decoding [PDF]
—In this treatise, we investigate a precoded and sphere packing (SP)-aided bit-interleaved differential space-time coded modulation scheme using iterative decoding. The amalgamated design and interworking of the SP, differential encoding, and iteratively

Ictal phase-amplitude coupling as a biomarker for seizure onset zone in neocortical epilepsy
ObjectiveTo assess ictal phase–amplitude coupling (PAC) dynamics during seizure generation and explore whether ictal PAC analysis can help identify the seizure onset zone (SOZ) in neocortical epilepsy.MethodsWe analyzed ictal intracranial ...

Offset Space-Frequency Index Modulation
In this paper, a novel offset-based space-frequency index modulation (OSFIM) design is developed, for the sake of improving the bit error ratio (BER) performance.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Adaptive redundant residue number system coded multicarrier modulation
The novel class of nonbinary maximum minimum distance redundant residue number system (RRNS) codes is invoked in the context of adaptively RRNS coded, symbol-by-symbol adaptive multicarrier modulation, in order to combat the effects of frequency ...

Turbo Detection of Precoded Sphere Packing Modulation Using Four Transmit Antennas for Differential Space-Time Spreading [PDF]
This paper presents a novel turbo-detected multidimensional Sphere Packing (SP) modulation scheme using four transmit antennas combined with Differentially encoded Space-Time Spreading (DSTS). The DSTS scheme can be readily combined with PSK, QAM as well
