On quaternionic tori and their moduli space [PDF]
Quaternionic tori are defined as quotients of the skew field \mathbb H of quaternions by rank-4 lattices. Using slice regular functions, these tori are endowed with natural structures of quaternionic manifolds (in fact quaternionic curves), and a ...

On the moduli space of superminimal surfaces in spheres
Using a birational correspondence between the twistor space of S2n and projective space, we describe, up to birational equivalence, the moduli space of superminimal surfaces in S2n of degree d as curves of degree d in projective space satisfying a ...

Operations on stable moduli spaces [PDF]
AbstractWe construct certain operations on stable moduli spaces and use them to compare cohomology of moduli spaces of closed manifolds with tangential structure. We obtain isomorphisms in a stable range provided thep-adic valuation of the Euler characteristics agree, for all primespnot invertible in the coefficients for cohomology.

Moduli space reconstruction and Weak Gravity
We present a method to construct the extended Kähler cone of any Calabi-Yau threefold by using Gopakumar-Vafa invariants to identify all geometric phases that are related by flops or Weyl reflections. In this way we obtain the Kähler moduli spaces of all

The moduli space of thickenings [PDF]
This paper studies the homotopy type of the moduli space of compact n-manifold thickenings of a finite complex. The main result computes the homotopy fibers of the stabilization map from n-thickenings to (n+1)-thickenings in a wide range. In particular, we obtain an EHP-type sequence for thickenings extending work of C.T.C. Wall.

A note on Bridgeland moduli spaces and moduli spaces of sheaves on $$X_{14}$$ and $$Y_3$$
AbstractWe study Bridgeland moduli spaces of semistable objects of $$(-1)$$ ( - 1 ) -classes and $$(-4)$$ ( - 4 )

Revisiting the refined Distance Conjecture
The Distance Conjecture of Ooguri and Vafa holds that any infinite-distance limit in the moduli space of a quantum gravity theory must be accompanied by a tower of exponentially light particles, which places tight constraints on the low-energy effective ...

Closed strings and moduli in AdS3/CFT2
String theory on AdS3 × S3 × T4 has 20 moduli. We investigate how the perturbative closed string spectrum changes as we move around this moduli space in both the RR and NSNS flux backgrounds. We find that, at weak string coupling, only four of the moduli

Heterotic instantons for monad and extension bundles
We consider non-perturbative superpotentials from world-sheet instantons wrapped on holomorphic genus zero curves in heterotic string theory. These superpotential contributions feature prominently in moduli stabilization and large field axion inflation ...

The Coupled Seiberg-Witten Equations, vortices, and Moduli spaces of stable pairs [PDF]
We introduce coupled Seiberg-Witten equations, and we prove, using a generalized vortex equation, that, for Kaehler surfaces, the moduli space of solutions of these equations can be identified with a moduli space of holomorphic stable pairs.
