This study develops sustainable MgO–C refractories using recycled materials and eco‐friendly fructose–tannin binders. The enhanced performance of citric acid as a cross‐linker and functional additives on mechanical and thermomechanical properties was examined. Characterization included strength tests, immersion trials, and microstructural and inclusion

A modulus of smoothness for some Banach function spaces
UDC 517.5 Based on the Steklov operator, we consider a modulus of smoothness of functions in some Banach function spaces, which can be not translation invariant and establish its main properties. A constructive characterization of the Lipschitz class is obtained by using the Jackson-type direct theorem and inverse theorem of trigonometric ...

This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE IN TOPOLOGICAL SPACE CONTROLLED BY MODULUS FUNCTION
The notion of \(f\)-statistical convergence in topological space, which is actually a statistical convergence's generalization under the influence of unbounded modulus function is presented and explored in this paper.

Numerical Modeling of Tank Cars Carrying Hazardous Materials With and Without Composite Metal Foam
Large‐scale puncture models consisting of hazardous materials (HAZMATs) tank car with protective steel–steel composite metal foam (S–S CMF) are solved numerically. Tank car plate with added 10.91–13.33 mm thick S–S CMF layer does not puncture. Protective S–S CMF absorbs impact energy, reduces plate deformation, and prevents shear bands formation ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

On proximal mappings with Young functions in uniformly convex Banach spaces
It is well known in convex analysis that proximal mappings on Hilbert spaces are $1$-Lipschitz. In the present paper we show that proximal mappings on uniformly convex Banach spaces are uniformly continuous on bounded sets.

Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

New constant modulus algorithm suitable for nonconstant modulus signals
The steady-state mean square error(MSE) of constant modulus algorithm(CMA) can not converge to zero for nonconstant modulus signals.By changing the multimodulus of nonconstant modulus source to single modulus,a new cost function was defined. And the new ...
