Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

On modelling heat and moisture transfer in sandwich wall and slab structures

open access: yesJournal of Civil Engineering and Management, 2006
In real wall or slab structures made of capillary‐porous materials (such as masonry or concrete) exposed to ambient air, the unsteady processes of heat transfer and moisture migration as reciprocal phenomena are observed.
