Measurement of Moisture Absorption Ratio of FRP Using Micro Polymer Sensor
Key Engineering Materials, 2004Abstract. Moisture absorption of FRP is important because the mechanical properties, such as compressive and fatigue strength, significantly degrade due to moisture absorption. It is difficult to apply conventional measuring methods to FRP because of its inhomogeneity and low moisture absorption ratio.

A new practical model to describe Moisture Ratio behavior during drying process
2023A new mathematical model has been developed to analyze the process of drying food. The model is based on a non-linear function fit of the moisture ratio behavior. To determine the moisture ratio behavior, the Rational Polynomial method of first and second order has been proposed, which allows a simple fit that approximately describes the moisture ratio

Forecast the moisture ratio removal during seaweed drying process using solar drier
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2019Carrageenan was utilized in food and non-food industry such as emulsifier, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, printing and textile formulations. However, there are underutilized efforts to develop model using mathematical and statistical techniques; the present paper explains the forecast using best model for the moisture ratio removal of seaweed drying in v ...

Decomposition of SMAP polarization ratio into surface soil moisture and vegetation dynamics
2017 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), 2017In this study we examined the linear decomposition and relationship between the SMAP observed Polarization Ratio into surface soil moisture and vegetation. Temporal linear regression, per each SMAP pixel, is performed to estimate the decomposition coefficients.

Root-to-straw ratios - influence of moisture and rate of N fertilizer
Canadian Journal of Soil Science, 2001Root/straw ratios for crops are urgently required by scientists wishing to estimate crop residue inputs to soil and for modeling C and N dynamics in the soil-plant-atmosphere system. In this paper we discuss the influence of moisture and rates of N application on such ratios for wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grown in the semi-arid region of the ...

Study of GPS C/No ratio for retrieval of Surface Soil Moisture
2019 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC), 2019In this paper, soil moisture retrieval algorithm has been developed utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) C/No data for bare soil surfaces. The developed algorithm relies on the multipath carrier to noise ratio (C/No) recorded by the receiver. Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System (IRNSS) receiver was used to collect the multipath GPS data ...
