Sequential Patterning of Photoresponsive Hydrogels Directs Crypt Fission and Reveals the Role of Epithelial Curvature on Fission Symmetry

Deterministic crypt fission is achieved in intestinal organoids using photopatternable hydrogels with spatiotemporal control. Daughter‐crypt symmetry is shown to depend on parent‐crypt geometry and epithelial curvature, while myosin‐dependent mechanosensing links tissue shape to regenerative outcomes.

AARS1‐Mediated H3K27 Lactylation Rewires Glycolysis to Sustain Aggressive and Recurrent Bladder Cancer

AARS1 drives PI3K–AKT–mTOR‐dependent glycolysis in bladder cancer, promoting lactate accumulation, increased lactylation, H3K27la enrichment at the HK2 promoter, and HK2 transcription. The Interplay of Curvature, Geometry, and Topology Shapes Tissue Organisation in Epithelial Shells

Purely geometric 3D Voronoi models predict the organisation of epithelial shells. The interplay of curvature, geometry, and topology enriches the number of pentagons in shells with lower number of cells.
