Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Resolved Magnetic Field Mapping of a Molecular Cloud Using GPIPS
We present the first resolved map of plane-of-sky magnetic field strength for a quiescent molecular cloud. GRSMC 45.60+0.30 subtends 40 x 10 pc at a distance of 1.88 kpc, masses 16,000 M_sun, and exhibits no star formation.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

GENES DETERMINING COLORATION OF DIFFERENT ORGANS IN WHEAT
Coloration of some wheat organs may be of adaptive significance. Coloration traits are widely used in wheat taxonomy and variety identification. They also provide a suitable model for genetic and molecular studies.

Complex-band structure: a method to determine the off-resonant electron transport in oligomers
We validate that off-resonant electron transport across {\it ultra-short} oligomer molecular junctions is characterised by a conductance which decays exponentially with length, and we discuss a method to determine the damping factor via the energy ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

CellDesigner file of the CRC progression map. Reddish (red, pink, magenta) edges among nodes represent inhibition regulation while black, blue, cyan, and gray edges represent activation. The map contains 218 nodes and 328 edges. Nodes and edges are annotated with their official names and PubMed IDs, respectively. The MIM was dynamically simulated using
