Study on the Synthesis Method of [11C]Methionine Using Molecular Sieve as Desiccant
[11C]Methionine is used widely for brain tumor diagnosis via positron emission tomography. Moisture generated during the synthesis of [11C]methionine reduces the synthesis yield. Therefore, a desiccant is used to remove moisture.

This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Study of Acetylsalicylic Acid Adsorption Using Molecular Sieves
Molecular sieves can be used as a host matrix to encapsulate several drugs. Here, we studied the adsorption of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) in HUS-Y, HZSM-5 and silicalite-1 zeolites, as well as in the mesoporous sieve Si-MCM-41, and compared their ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

A computational study on the adsorption of the major ring-transformation products of methyloxirane in HY and HZSM-5 zeolites [PDF]
The adsorption of dioxolane and dioxane derivatives in HY and HZSM-5 zeolites was studied computationally. The molecules are the main ring-transformation products of methyloxirane over these zeolites. Experimental work showed that the cyclic dimerisation

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,
