Molecularly imprinted graphene based biosensor as effective tool for electrochemical sensing of uric acid

open access: yesSensors International, 2023
Graphene oxide based molecularly imprinted polymer was designed by incorporating vinyltrimethoxysilane into the layers of graphene oxide, which was copolymerized with functional monomers such as Itaconic acid (IA) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) was ...

Electrosynthesized molecularly imprinted polyscopoletin nanofilms for human serum albumin detection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) rendered selective solely by the imprinting with protein templates lacking of distinctive properties to facilitate strong target-MIP interaction are likely to exhibit medium to low template binding affinities.

High‐Yield Synthesis of Fe‐NC Electrocatalysts Using Mg2+ Templating and Schiff‐Base Porous Organic Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fe─NC porous oxygen reduction electrocatalysts are prepared employing a 2,4,6‐Triaminopyrimidine‐based porous organic polymer, a Mg2+ Lewis acid, and a low‐temperature cation exchange protocol. Using the polymer precursor achieves high pyrolysis yields and results in atomically dispersed FeNx sites. The resulting catalysts feature hierarchical porosity

Development of an Electrochemical Sensor Conjugated with Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for the Detection of Enrofloxacin

open access: yesChemosensors, 2022
An electrochemical sensor was fabricated for the rapid and simple detection of enrofloxacin (EF). Modification of screen-printed gold electrodes (SPE) with molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) allowed the detection of enrofloxacin by square wave ...

Enantioselective Growth of Chiral Serine‐Induced β‐Ag2Se Crystals from an Organoselenium Compound

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral amino acids direct the enantioselective crystallization of β‐Ag2Se nanocrystals from an organoselenium precursor. L‐ and D‐serine induce distinct morphologies and opposite homochiral adsorption preferences, transferring molecular handedness into the inorganic lattice.

Synthesis and Characterization of Molecular Imprinting Polymer Microspheres of Piperine: Extraction of Piperine from Spiked Urine

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry, 2016
Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) microspheres for Piperine were synthesized by precipitation polymerization with a noncovalent approach. In this research Piperine was used as a template, acrylic acid as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol ...

Electrochemically Deposited Molecularly Imprinted Polymer-Based Sensors

open access: yesSensors, 2022
This review is dedicated to the development of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and the application of MIPs in sensor design. MIP-based biological recognition parts can replace receptors or antibodies, which are rather expensive. Conducting polymers
