A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

Feasibility of Nitrogen as a Carrier Gas for Inconel Cold Spray in Hydropower Application
N2, despite being nearly two orders of magnitude cheaper than He, is a feasible carrier gas for cold spray Inconel coatings in hydropower repair applications when higher gas temperature and pressure are used. Reducing powder size significantly improved cavitation resistance, while the addition of fine chromium carbide particles further enhanced erosion

Si‐doped AlCoCrFeNi high‐entropy alloys are synthesized by mechanical alloying to reveal the effect of Si content and milling time on phase evolution, microstructural refinement, and tribological behavior. A transition from FCC to BCC structure, significant grain refinement, and enhanced hardness and wear resistance are achieved, with the 4 at% Si ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Aneuploidy is frequent in heterozygous diploid and triploid hydatidiform moles
Hydatidiform moles are abnormal conceptuses. Many hydatidiform moles are diploid androgenetic, and of these, most are homozygous in all loci. Additionally, most hydatidiform moles are euploid. Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) array analysis, in

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Il lato oscuro della bellezza: Elena come immagine della paura in Euripide
Ever since the Homeric poems, Helen’s proverbial beauty had to face the sense of fear and hostility aroused by her own figure, as proved by some terms used by Homer connecting the heroine with fear, hatred and death.
