Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Thermal proteome profiling and proteome analysis using high‐definition mass spectrometry demonstrate modulation of cholesterol biosynthesis by next‐generation galeterone analog VNPP433‐3β in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

Ab initio quasi-harmonic thermoelasticity of molybdenum at high temperature and pressure [PDF]

open access: yes
We present the ab-initio thermoelastic properties of body-centered cubic molybdenum under extreme conditions obtained within the quasi-harmonic approximation including both the vibrational and the electronic thermal excitations contributions to the free energy.

Trace analysis of phosphates in small aqueous volumes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
The indirect determination of trace amounts of phosphate through estimation of the molybdenum in the phosphomolybdic acid complex has been improved. The lower limit of spectrophotometric determination is about 0.10 μg

Boron-Dependency of Molybdenum Boride Electrocatalysts for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction.

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, 2017
Molybdenum-based materials have been considered as alternative catalysts to noble metals, such as platinum, for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). We have synthesized four binary bulk molybdenum borides Mo2 B, α-MoB, β-MoB, and MoB2 by arc-melting ...

The atypical KRASQ22K mutation directs TGF‐β response towards partial epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in patient‐derived colorectal cancer tumoroids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
TGF‐β has a complex role in cancer, exhibiting both tumor‐suppressive and tumor‐promoting properties. Using a series of differentiated tumoroids, derived from different stages and mutational background of colorectal cancer patients, we replicate this duality of TGF‐β in vitro. Notably, the atypical but highly aggressive KRASQ22K mutation rendered early‐

Mechanical properties of molybdenum tailings concrete after exposure to high temperature

open access: yesHeliyon, 2023
In this paper, 75 concrete prisms were tested under different temperatures (20, 200, 400, 600 and 800 °C) and molybdenum tailings replacement ratio (0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 %).
