RNA‐Micelles as Self‐Assembling Structures for Efficient Co‐Delivery of Synergistic siRNA and Nucleoside Analogues to Treat CRC Lung Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two kinds of self‐assembled RNA micelles were used to co‐deliver synergistic siRNA and nucleoside analogues for the treatment of colorectal cancer lung metastases. Near‐complete elimination of lung cancer metastases was confirmed in an orthotopic lung metastasis model constructed using human colorectal cancer lung metastases patient surgical samples to

Mineralogical characterization of the flotation products using automated mineral liberation analysis at the Erdenetiin Ovoo Cu-Mo porphyry deposit, Mongolia

open access: yesMongolian Geoscientist
The flotation process is used to extract copper-molybdenum sulfide minerals from ore. The selection of the flotation technology scheme largely depends on factors such as the composition of sulfide ore in the ore body, grain size, and characteristics of ...

Assessment of technogenic pollution of environmental objects in the conditions of Mailuu-Suu (Kyrgyzstan) [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Radioactive biosphere pollution is a severe environmental concern. The Kyrgyz Republic supplied uranium oxides and molybdenum from 1946 to 1968, making it vital for radiation safety. Kyrgyzstan's Mailuu Suu has lots of radioactive waste.

Spatially Tailorable Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Alignment During Digital Light Process 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we report the fabrication of 3D printable liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) structures with spatially tailorable alignment domains within the same layer. This work addresses the long‐standing challenge of preparing complex 3D LCE architectures with patterned functional domains to achieve nonlinear deformations. Fabrication of multi‐domains in 3D

Unraveling Quantitative Sensing Mechanism and Predictive Molecular Metrics for High‐Performance OFET Amine Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel chloro boron subphthalocyanine/polymer blend OFET sensor achieving 0.005 ppb limit of detection for ammonia at room temperature and high selectivity against similar amines. An original theoretical framework is proposed to describe the sensing mechanism, relating analyte molecular volume and Lewis basicity to sensor ...

High Energy Density Asymmetric Aqueous Supercapacitor Based on a 2D Manganese Carbide as a Positive Electrode

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A circular route, involving upcycling of waste surgical masks, affords a Mn‐based layered carbide with porosity, redox activity and low work function. These features enable its effective operation as positive supercapacitor electrode in an aqueous asymmetric supercapacitor delivering 213 Wh L−1 energy density.
