Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

High‐Performance Air‐Stable Polymer Monolayer Transistors for Monolithic 3D CMOS logics
A fibrillar polymer monolayer with a self‐confinement effect is demonstrated, in which aligned chains parallel the nanofiber axis. Employing a top‐gate CYTOP dielectric, this monolayer transistor achieves high mobility (7.12 cm2 V−1 s−1) and exceptional stability over 1260 days in air.

DNA Origami‐Templated Aptamer Chiral Structures Realize Cellular Enantioselectivity
Aptamers displayed on tubular DNA origami nanostructures in defined chiral orientations (left‐ or right‐handed) exhibit enantioselective interactions with cell surface target proteins. While the right‐handed configuration supports only transient binding, the left handedness energetically favors protein dimerization and promotes subsequent ...

Li Incorporation Induces Surface Chemical Disorder in Solution‐Processed Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4
Lithium incorporation into Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) thin‐film semiconductors is highly beneficial for solar power conversion efficiencies, although directly visualising its impact on the absorber is difficult. Energy‐filtered photoemission electron microscopy measurements reveal lithium alloying induces surface chemical disorder of CZTSSe, highlighted ...

Defect Properties and Band Energetics of Atomic Layer Deposited MoOX on Crystalline Si
Atomic layer deposited MoOx thin films grown using oxygen plasma and ozone co‐reactants exhibit tunable defect densities and band energetics. Optical and X#x02010;ray photoelectron spectroscopies reveal oxygen#x02010;vacancy#x02010;induced defect and polaron states and their impact on band alignment at the c#x02010;Si/MoOx interface, providing insight ...
