We propose a statistic to evaluate the goodness-of-fit where we used the empirical moment generating function and the moment generating function, from the considered information it found that the Gn statistic was different behavior according to the used ...

A probablistic proof of the series representation of the MacDonald function with applications
A series representation of the Macdonald function is obtained using the properties of a probability density function and its moment generating function. Some applications of the result are discussed and an open problem is posed.

A Note on Topp-Leone Odd Log-Logistic Inverse Exponential Distribution
The inverse exponential distribution is widely used in the field of reliability. In this article, we present a generalization of the inverse exponential distribution in formation of Topp-Leone odd log-logistic inverse exponential distribution. We provide

Generalized moments of additive functions
Generalizing results of \textit{P. D. T. A. Elliott} [Can. J. Math. 32, 893- 907 (1980; Zbl 0444.10051)], \textit{A. Hildebrand} and \textit{J. Spilker} [Manuscr. Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

A New Poisson Generalized Lindley Regression Model
In this paper, a new count distribution is introduced. It is a mixture of the Poisson and generalized Lindley distributions. Statistical properties of the proposed distribution including the factorial moments, probability generating function, moment ...

q-deformed Hermite Polynomials in q-Quantum Mechanics
The q-special functions appear naturally in q-deformed quantum mechanics and both sides profit from this fact. Here we study the relation between the q-deformed harmonic oscillator and the q-Hermite polynomials.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Probabilistic properties and applications of several variations of Brownian motion
On the basis of standard Brownian motion, this paper discusses several kinds of variations related to standard Brownian motion in the form of probability distribution and joint distribution.

Dobinski-type relations: Some properties and physical applications
We introduce a generalization of the Dobinski relation through which we define a family of Bell-type numbers and polynomials. For all these sequences we find the weight function of the moment problem and give their generating functions.
