Automated full moment tensor inversion of coal mining-induced seismicity
Seismicity induced by coal mining in the Ruhr region, Germany, has been monitored continuously over the last 25 yr. In 2006, a dense temporary network (HAMNET) was deployed to locally monitor seismicity induced by longwall mining close to the town of ...

Light‐Driven Quadrupedal Walking Biohybrid Robot With Antagonistic Muscle‐Rings and Inclined Joints
This work presents a light‐driven quadrupedal walking biohybrid robot powered by antagonistic muscle‐rings that achieve alternating walking gait. Optical training improved reproducibility of cultured muscle tissues, while caffeine treatment enhanced contractile force.

Stiffness‐Programmable Origami Robots With Tendon‐Driven Actuation via Multimaterial 3D Printing
Motion diversity is achieved in a tendon‐driven origami robot through programmable stiffness rather than modified actuation. Multimaterial 3D printing embeds soft creases, modular inserts redirect identical tendon inputs into distinct behaviors, and variable‐stiffness inserts enable real‐time switching.
