DADA Enhances CD8+ T Cell Stemness to Improve Anti‐Tumor Immunity and Immunotherapy Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 26, 8 May 2026.
Diisopropylamine dichloroacetate (DADA) enhances CD8+ T cell stemness by improving OXPHOS and mitochondrial fitness in a PDK1‐depenpendent manner. This metabolic shift strengthens CD8+ T cell anti‐tumor immunity, improves responses to PD‐1 blockade, and endows CAR‐T cells with prolonged persistence and resistance to terminal exhaustion, highlighting a ...

Regulatory Patterns of Crp on Monensin Biosynthesis in Streptomyces cinnamonensis

open access: yesMicroorganisms, 2020
Monensin, produced by Streptomyces cinnamonensis, is a polyether ionophore antibiotic widely used as a coccidiostat and a growth-promoting agent in agricultural industry.

Microbiology and cell biology of the interaction between Listeria monocytogenes and Acanthamoeba spp. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
L. monocytogenes is ubiquitous in environment and can grow and survive in a wide range of environmental conditions. It contaminates foods via raw materials or food processing environments. However, the current knowledge of its ecology and in particular,

The RNA‐ and DNA‐Binding Protein Y‐Box Binding Protein 1 (YB‐1) Regulates iNKT Cell Development

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 56, Issue 5, May 2026.
YB‐1 is essential for invariant NKT cell development, integrating TCR, co‐stimulatory, and IL‐15 signaling to control maturation, subset differentiation, and survival. Its loss at the double‐positive thymocyte stage causes ∼80% iNKT cell depletion, maturation arrest, impaired cytokine production, and increased apoptosis.

Effects of Beet‐Vinasse (Condensed Molasses Soluble) Addition on the Performance, Milk Fatty Acid Profile, Digestibility, Blood Parameters, and Ruminal Fermentation of Early Lactating Holstein Cows

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
Vinasse supplementation at 1.5%–3% enhances nutrient digestibility, ruminal fermentation and production efficiency in early‐lactating Holstein cows. However, without rumen microbial or immune response data, long‐term safety and efficacy require further study.

Similarities and differences between the E5 oncoproteins of bovine papillomaviruses type 1 and type 4: Cytoskeleton, motility and invasiveness in E5-transformed bovine and mouse cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Bovine papillomaviruses (BPVs) are oncogenic viruses. In cattle, BPV-1/2 is associated with urinary bladder cancer and BPV-4 with upper GI tract cancer. BPV E5 is a small hydrophobic protein localised in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus

Limited roles of the miR‐17‐92 cluster in the regulation of T‐cell apoptosis

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 293, Issue 10, Page 2845-2861, May 2026.
The pro‐apoptotic protein BIM shapes T‐cell survival and function, but how it is regulated remains unclear. In a mouse model lacking direct miR‐17‐92:Bim interactions, we observed a moderate reduction in Th17 CD4+ T cells. BIM levels were modestly increased in double‐positive thymocytes and naive CD8+ T cells, but this did not affect overall T‐cell ...

Occurrence and transformation of veterinary pharmaceuticals and biocides in manure: a literature review [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The spread of veterinary medicinal products (VMPs) and biocides via manure onto agriculturally used areas represents a very important emission into the environment for these product groups.

Assessment of the application for modification of the terms of the authorisation of the feed additive consisting of Bacillus velezensis ATCC PTA‐6737 (PB6) for all pigs, all poultry species for fattening or reared for laying/breeding, laying hens, minor poultry species for laying and ornamental birds (Kemin Europa N.V.)

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Following a request from the European Commission, EFSA was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the safety and efficacy of the preparation consisting of viable spores of Bacillus velezensis ATCC PTA‐6737 (tradename PB6). PB6 is currently authorised for use as a zootechnical additive (functional group: gut flora stabilisers) for all poultry

Effect of monensin on milk production efficiency and milk composition in lactating dairy cows fed modern diets

open access: yesJournal of Dairy Science
: Since the US Food and Drug Administration's approval of monensin in 2004, significant nutritional advances have been made to increase feed efficiency and milk fat production. Recent evidence suggests monensin's adverse effect on milk fat percentage may
