Cucurbit[8]Uril Achieved Single‐Molecule Chiral Transfer to Supramolecular Circularly Polarized Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐molecule cascade supramolecular system comprising L/D‐FPy, CB[8], and SC4AD serves as an efficient light‐harvesting platform. It facilitates cascade energy transfer and chiral transfer to acceptor dyes. Co‐assembly with a PVA matrix produces a multicolor solid film that exhibits enhanced luminescence dissymmetry factors (glum), enabling ...

Livestock Tango: U.S. and Latin America Dance Together, but Who Will Lead?

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the competitiveness between Latin American and U.S. livestock and meat sectors. We employ a computable general equilibrium modeling framework to evaluate two scenarios: coordinated improvements in Latin American productivity, transport efficiency, and market access (Scenario I), and the minimum productivity gains required ...

THE INCIDENCE OF BIRTHMARKS IN IRANIAN NEONATES [PDF]

open access: yesActa Medica Iranica, 2007
A number of innocent rashes occurs in neonates. They are usually transient and self limited and thus require no therapy but early recognition is important to distinguish these lesions from more serious disorders.

Extensive Aberrant Mongolian Spot

open access: yesThe Journal of Dermatology, 1995
AbstractA 9‐month‐old male infant had generalized diffuse blue‐gray pigmentation over most of his body, sparing the scalp, face, neck, palms, soles, periumbilical area, genital area, and nipples. Within the lesion, there were several conspicuous macules of considerably darker hue. Histologic examination revealed numerous dermal melanocytes.

Subsurface Stabilization of Interstitial Pt Atoms on CeO2(111): Rethinking Single‐Atom Catalyst Architectures

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
By combining polarization‐resolved IRRAS on atomically flat CeO2(111) single crystals with quantitative XPS and DFT calculations, we identify an unusual subsurface interstitial configuration of Pt single atoms that gives rise to a previously unobserved, blue‐shifted CO vibrational mode.

Ultrasound–Calcination Synergistic Control of (Ce, La)PO4 Catalyst Structure for Enhanced Low‐Temperature NH3‐SCR Performance

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, (Ce, La)PO4 catalysts were synthesized via an ultrasound‐assisted method. The effects of ultrasound duration and calcination temperature on the low‐temperature NH3‐SCR performance were systematically investigated. The results indicated that the (Ce, La)PO4 catalyst prepared with an ultrasound treatment time of 20 min and a ...

New craniodental materials of Falcarius utahensis (Theropoda: Therizinosauria) reveal patterns of intraspecific variation and cranial evolution in early coelurosaurians

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Despite documented ecomorphological shifts toward an herbivorous diet in several coelurosaurian lineages, the evolutionary tempo and mode of these changes remain poorly understood, hampered by sparse cranial materials for early representatives of major clades. This is particularly true for Therizinosauria, with representative crania best known
