Crystallization Behaviour of Monolithic Doped Zirconia and Zirconia-Alumina Composite Gels
Transactions of the Indian Ceramic Society, 2001Polymeric monolithic doped zirconia and zirconia-alumina stiff gels (via stable zirconia and zirconia-alumina sols respectively), derived from Zr-n-propoxide, acetyl acetone, aluminium chloride, di-methyl formamide etc with judicious time-temperature-pH selection, have been prepared by controlled hydrolysis and polycondepsation, and subsequently ...

Three generations of zirconia: From veneered to monolithic. Part I.
Quintessence international (Berlin, Germany : 1985), 2018This article presents the historical development of the different generations of zirconia and their range of indications, from veneered to monolithic zirconia restorations. Because of the large extent of this topic, it is divided into two parts.

Zirconia supported LaMnO3 monoliths for the catalytic combustion of methane
Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, 2002Abstract Novel LaMnO3 perovskite-based structured catalysts have been studied for methane catalytic combustion under lean, pre-mixed conditions. Monoliths have been prepared by wash-coating cordierite honeycomb substrates with lanthanum stabilised ZrO2, on which the perovskite was dispersed by either impregnation or deposition–precipitation (DP ...

Wear behaviour of monolithic zirconia crowns – clinical results
Dental Materials, 2014Purpose: (1) To compare the strains and the stresses values within the periodontal ligament (PDL) following the application of three types of loading regimes: pure intrusion (PI), buccal tipping (BT), and intrusion combined with buccal tipping (IT). (2) To verify the correlation between these results and the available clinical findings regarding root ...

Transparent zirconia gel-monolith from zirconium alkoxide
Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1986Abstract Transparent zirconia gel-monoliths were prepared by controlled hydrolysis of stabilized zirconium alkoxide. The gel after drying at 60°C was amorphous to electron diffraction. Infrared spectroscopic study indicated that the molecular structure of the dried gel was different from that of the precipitated zirconia as reported in the literature.
