Line‐Field Confocal Optical Coherence Tomography (LC‐OCT) of Pilomatricoma

open access: yesPediatric Dermatology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pilomatricoma is a benign cutaneous tumor of hair matrix origin, often presenting in children as a slow‐growing, firm, colored nodule. Line‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) is a novel imaging method that enables non‐invasive, quasi‐histologic visualization of the skin.

Case Report: T‐Lymphoblastic Leukemia in a Dog With Erythrophagia

open access: yesVeterinary Clinical Pathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 2‐year‐old male German Shepherd dog was presented with progressive weight loss, lethargy, and hyporexia. Hematologic analysis revealed a moderate macrocytic normochromic anemia and moderate thrombocytopenia. Additionally, a pronounced leukocytosis was observed, characterized by 33% large lymphoid cells, marked neutrophilia with a significant

Fine‐Needle Aspirate Cytology of Feline Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis in Two Cats

open access: yesVeterinary Clinical Pathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Feline pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (FPLCH) is a rare histiocytic disorder in cats, usually diagnosed post‐mortem following natural death or euthanasia for severe respiratory distress. Antemortem diagnosis has been reported only once, achieved by cytologic examination of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid combined with immunocytochemistry,

Evaluation of the Clinical Phenotype and Follow-up of Children with ‘Nonsustained’ Ventricular Tachycardia Detected on 24-hour Rhythm Holter

open access: yesÇocuk Dergisi
Objective: Non-sustained ventricular tachycardia (NSVT) is an important arrhythmic finding in pediatric patients, with varying clinical implications based on the presence of structural heart disease.

The multicellular environment of the re‐entrant circuit in post‐myocardial infarction ventricular tachycardia: Beyond fibrosis

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Schematic overview of the temporal evolution of the post‐myocardial infarction substrate leading to ventricular tachycardia. Acute ischaemic injury initiates metabolic and electrophysiological disruption, followed by progressive inflammatory, fibrotic and structural remodelling within the infarct border zone.

Non-DLBCL monomorphic and Hodgkin lymphoma PTLD: clinical insights and treatment strategies

open access: yesBlood Advances
: Monomorphic posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLDs) beyond diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) are rare, biologically heterogeneous entities with limited prospective data to guide treatment.

Endoscopic Visualization of a Jejuno‐Colonic Fistula in a Case of Monomorphic Epitheliotropic Intestinal T‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 7, Issue 1, April 2027.
Monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T‐cell lymphoma (MEITL) rarely presents with gastrointestinal fistula formation. A rare case of MEITL is identified in an elderly woman with marked weight loss and hypoalbuminemia, in whom a jejunocolic fistula is directly visualized endoscopically.

Gastrointestinal eosinophilic sclerosing fibroplasia and concurrent segmental T‐cell lymphoma in a cat

open access: yesVeterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 4, November 2026.
Abstract A domestic shorthair cat was presented with lethargy and inappetence. Abdominal ultrasound revealed a large jejunal mural mass with diffuse wall thickening without loss of wall layering, severe jejunal lymphadenopathy, and moderate peritoneal effusion.

Endoreduplication underlies body size variation in monomorphic ants

open access: yesFrontiers in Zoology
Background In ants, morphological variation is particularly important, as it constitutes a key mechanism underlying the division of labor. Despite this, relatively few studies have addressed the proximate cellular mechanisms responsible for worker size ...

Trypanosoma brucei: in vitro slender-to-stumpy differentiation of culture-adapted, monomorphic bloodstream forms

open access: yes, 2002
Pleomorphic Trypanosoma brucei strains are characterized by their ability to differentiate from replicating long slender forms into non-dividing short stumpy forms in the mammalian host.
