The existence and uniqueness of monotone pure strategy equilibrium in Bayesian games [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper provides a sufficient condition for existence and uniqueness of equilibrium, which is in monotone pure strategies, in games of incomplete information.

On feebly monotone and related classes of mappings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
A mapping between continua is said to be feebly monotone if whenever the range is the union of two proper subcontinua, their preimages are connected.

Weak convergence theorem for a class of split variational inequality problems and applications in a Hilbert space

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we consider the algorithm proposed in recent years by Censor, Gibali and Reich, which solves split variational inequality problem, and Korpelevich’s extragradient method, which solves variational inequality problems. As our main result, we

Microstructure Reconstruction in Battery Electrodes Using Machine Learning Based on Low‐Voltage Focused Ion Beam–Scanning Electron Microscopy Tomography Images

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Solving of a Variational Inequality Problem Under the Presence of Computational Errors

open access: yesMathematics
W. Takahashi and M. Toyoda (2003) proved weak convergence of an iteration process of solving a variational inequality problem for an inverse strongly-monotone mapping.

Inverse Identification of Energy‐Dependent Laser Absorptivity in NiTi Laser Powder‐Bed Fusion via Calibrated Melt Pool Simulation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.

On nonlinear mappings of monotone type homotopic to odd operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
Let A be a (nonlinear) mapping of monotone type from the real Banach space X into its conjugate space X∗. The solvability of the functional equation Au = 0 in a given open subset of X is investigated under the assumption that A = A0 is homotopic to an ...

A New Approximation Method for Solving Variational Inequalities and Fixed Points of Nonexpansive Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2009
A new approximation method for solving variational inequalities and fixed points of nonexpansive mappings is introduced and studied. We prove strong convergence theorem of the new iterative scheme to a common element of the set of fixed points of ...

Common Solutions of an Iterative Scheme for Variational Inclusions, Equilibrium Problems, and Fixed Point Problems

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2009
We introduce an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximate method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a variational inclusion with set-valued maximal monotone mapping and inverse strongly monotone mappings, the set of solutions of

Approximating Solutions of General Class of Variational Inclusions Involving Bl-Co-Monotone Mappings in Banach Spaces

open access: yesAxioms
The goal of the current study is to introduce a new class of proximal-point mappings that are associated with a new class of Bl-co-monotone mappings that are being defined.
