Approximating Iterations for Nonexpansive and Maximal Monotone Operators

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2015
We present two algorithms for finding a zero of the sum of two monotone operators and a fixed point of a nonexpansive operator in Hilbert spaces. We show that these two algorithms converge strongly to the minimum norm common element of the zero of the ...

Local existence–uniqueness and monotone iterative approximation of positive solutions for p-Laplacian differential equations involving tempered fractional derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2021
In this paper, we are concerned with a kind of tempered fractional differential equation Riemann–Stieltjes integral boundary value problems with p-Laplacian operators.

Solving monotone inclusions involving parallel sums of linearly composed maximally monotone operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The aim of this article is to present two different primal-dual methods for solving structured monotone inclusions involving parallel sums of compositions of maximally monotone operators with linear bounded operators.

Tight Global Linear Convergence Rate Bounds for Douglas-Rachford Splitting

open access: yes, 2017
Recently, several authors have shown local and global convergence rate results for Douglas-Rachford splitting under strong monotonicity, Lipschitz continuity, and cocoercivity assumptions. Most of these focus on the convex optimization setting.

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Strong Convergence of Monotone Hybrid Method for Maximal Monotone Operators and Hemirelatively Nonexpansive Mappings

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2009
We prove strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the zero point set of a maximal monotone operator and the fixed point set of a hemirelatively nonexpansive mapping in a Banach space by using monotone hybrid iteration method.

Nonlinear equations with weighted potential type operators in Lebesgue spaces

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2011
By method of monotone operators, existence and uniqueness theorems are proved for some classes of nonlinear equations with weighted potential type operators in Lebesgue spaces.

A stochastic inertial forward-backward splitting algorithm for multivariate monotone inclusions

open access: yes, 2015
We propose an inertial forward-backward splitting algorithm to compute the zero of a sum of two monotone operators allowing for stochastic errors in the computation of the operators.
