Mie‐Resonant Metasurfaces with Controlled Silicon Oxidation in Electron‐Beam Deposition
Electron‐beam deposition is optimized to prevent silicon oxidation by controlling chamber pressure and deposition rate, yielding refractive index values comparable to other methods. This tunability enables precise control of optical properties. Mie‐resonant metasurfaces exhibit strong, tunable collective resonances, allowing the fabrication of silicon ...

This research presents an easy to fabricate, low‐cost, flexible piezoresistive deformation sensor comprised of a carbon nanotube, few‐layer graphene, and polydimethylsiloxane composite. The sensor detects deformations and vibrations up to 600 Hz with 0.1% strain sensitivity from stiff and soft targets in dry and wet environments.

Cost Monotonic "Cost and Charge" Rules for Connection Situations [PDF]
The special class of conservative charge systems for minimum cost spanning tree (mcst) situations is introduced. These conservative charge systems lead to single-valued rules for mcst situations, which can also be described with the aid of obligation functions and are, consequently, cost monotonic.A value-theoretic interpretation of these rules is also ...

Spin‐Valley Polarization Control in WSe2 Monolayers using Photochemical Doping
A photochemical doping method is employed to modulate the spin‐valley polarization in WSe2 monolayers by tuning the carrier density from electron‐rich to hole‐rich regimes. This controlled doping enables a three‐fold variation in exciton polarization, revealing relaxation channels driven by scattering between excitons and charge carriers in two ...

Optical Properties of Thin Films of Tin Iodide Perovskite Nanostructures
A comprehensive spectroscopic study of thin films of 3D CsSnI3 nanocrystals (NCs) that coexist with residual 2D Ruddlesden‐Popper nanosheets (NSs) has been performed. Polymer encapsulation enables solid‐state stabilization of the tin iodide perovskite nanostructures, while insight into the energetics and dynamics of the NC and NS excitons is provided ...
