Classical and Bayesian Analysis of Univariate and Multivariate Stochastic Volatility Models [PDF]
In this paper Efficient Importance Sampling (EIS) is used to perform a classical and Bayesian analysis of univariate and multivariate Stochastic Volatility (SV) models for financial return series. EIS provides a highly generic and very accurate procedure

We performed a computational screening of phosphorescent emitters and charge transporters for OLEDs to identify combinations that minimize triplet‐polaron quenching, a major cause of efficiency loss and short operational lifetimes, especially in blue OLEDs. Our results reveal key design rules and highlight emitter‐transporter pairs that strongly reduce

The revision of the Stodółkiewicz's Monte-Carlo code is presented. It treats each superstar as a single star and follows the evolution and motion of all individual stellar objects. The first calculations, for equalmass N-body systems with three-body energy generation accordingly to Spitzer's formulae, show good agreement with the direct N-body ...

A Method for Estimating Annual Energy Production Using Monte Carlo Wind Speed Simulation
A novel Monte Carlo (MC) approach is proposed for the simulation of wind speed samples to assess the wind energy production potential of a site. The Monte Carlo approach is based on historical wind speed data and reserves the effect of autocorrelation ...

Scalable Task Planning via Large Language Models and Structured World Representations
This work efficiently combines graph‐based world representations with the commonsense knowledge in Large Language Models to enhance planning techniques for the large‐scale environments that modern robots will need to face. Planning methods often struggle with computational intractability when solving task‐level problems in large‐scale environments ...

SpatialESD: Spatial Ensemble Domain Detection in Spatial Transcriptomics
ABSTRACT Spatial transcriptomics (ST) measures gene expression while preserving spatial context within tissues. One of the key tasks in ST analysis is spatial domain detection, which remains challenging due to the complex structure of ST data and the varying performance of individual clustering methods. To address this, we propose SpatialESD, a Spatial

Lifshitz Transition in Correlated Topological Semimetals
Theoretical calculations reveal that in YPtBi and GdPtBi, strong electronic correlations shift topological Dirac nodes away from the Fermi level by forming large hole pockets. This effect is sensitive to temperature and arises from interactions among 4d or 4f electrons, offering insights into Fermi surface engineering in quantum materials.
