Abstract This chapter presents the Pure Theory of Law's discussion of law and justice, and its anti-ideological stance. The Pure Theory aims to depict the law as it is, without legitimizing it as just or disqualifying it as unjust; the Pure Theory enquires into actual and possible law, not into ‘right’ law.
